Private is the entry level rank in BoH. Successfully passing a 3 month probationary period at the rank of Recruit is required to earn this promotion and full membership in BoH.

When a member earns this rank the following events take place.

• Member earns the privilege to build a room within the guild mansion.
• Member is formally assigned a squad with the guild.
• Member gains access to the first tab within the guild vault.
• Permanent personnel file is established for member.
